  • Whose Points

Having made a break of 32 a while back i played a red which landed precariously over the middle pocket and refused to drop. I left the table and sat down. My partner had gone to the table and being snookered on this red was at odds which shot to play. He had bridged several times before standing back up again. Whilst standing up, the red over the pocket dropped in. What is the ruling. Do I get the points and continue my break or is he punished for fouling the red.

Im sute that he is punished for fouling the red. I think the rule is, if you go back to your seat and sit down then the ball falls in, it is a foul on the other guy. Can anyone else confirm this?

      Hi all,
      Ball is replaced without penalty.
See Snooker rules (Section 3 Rule 15) as below:

      Enjoy Your Snooker.
