Wooldridge Blackspin Tips

I had the blackspin ferrule fitted to my cue and it came back fitted with a blackspin tip. A very hard tip compared to what I'm used to as I've always had elks and Mike's super tips in the past, but it does seem to play well, you get a nice sound when you strike the ball and it looks like the tip will last a long time. Only problem is it doesn't appear to hold the chalk very well although I don't get any more miscues than I did before. The chalk seems to sit on top of the tip rather than go into it and I also think I am getting slightly more cue ball kicks. Anyone else use these tips? Will a block of the new miracle chalk solve this problem? I don't mind paying the money for the chalk if it works as a block lasts quite a long time.

if you are accustomed to playing with a S or SS tip and suddenly change to an M or MH, the chalk actually penetrates less because these tips are more compact, chalk should be no problem if you are using conventional marks, kicks I believe M tips cause less kicks than S ... first of all make sure the cloth is stretched, clean and not old, clean balls, polished with a maximum of 2 years and place of low humidity these details are more connected to the kicks than the tips!
