    Cue straightness

    Hello all,

    I am a snooker lover and a real amateur. Want to ask a question.
    I got my very first snooker cue, buffalo snooker cue yesterday. To be exact it is a gift from a friend of mine. So, I checked the flatness of the cue and I see that the tip is not compleletly straight. But I am talking about very tiny warp on the edge part.
    I am planning to return the cue where it has been bought but I wanted to learn first; how straight it should be? is there tolerence for the straightness?

    If it's a brand new cue it should be straight, sight down the cue like it's a rifle, don't roll it on a table.

              Like it's been said, how did your test it wasn't straight?
              If you rolled it on a table, it's the wrong way to do it.
              Pick it up from the butt and look down the middle of the cue.
              It can be a small bump on the side of the cue and not that it's not straight.
              Also real easy fix on most cases.
              Have straightened a few cues in about 15-20 seconds, in front of some very surprised cue owners lol

                Thank you all for replies.
                I did change my cue with a new "straight" one as you said Bart07.

                I did not roll on the table as I have learned from this forum page and yes it was a small bump. In anyway I changed and now I am happy with it.
