  • Burwat champion cue knowledge??

Good evening all, first post on the forum!

Recently bought a burwat champion cue to add to my collection...just after some knowledge on what edition the cue may be??

The badge has been redone and the cue definately has age to it, the splicing has started to crack ever so slightly.am just abit sceptical...any idea how old and what edition, could it be a replica?

    Any info would be amazing.

Go to IMGBB. Just set up an account now. Literally took seconds.

When you upload an image in the drop down box select the 'BBCode full'. You can use any of the BBCode, but depends on whether you want the image linked or anything.

That's it. Just paste the code in your post and it puts your image there.

I dont think its a 3rd edition due to the 3rd having a different wood for from splice...seems to look like 1st edition pictures ive come across on google but cant be sure.

Very difficult to tell when the badge is circa 2016 - if the old one wasn’t on the cue when you got it there’s no absolute certainty it’s a burwat at all.
I’m not sure I subscribe to the woods being a definitive indicator or how old the cue is (it’s not like they used exactly the same timber every day for 10 year periods!), the style of the badge certainly is but we don’t have that.

I have seen every sort of front splice you can imagine so that is no help.
