Well there is now a new world ranking after the UK Championship, where the points of the 2015 UK Championship were dropped.
There will be a new ranking already next week after the Scottish Open. Therefore only the ranking points of the fifth Event of the European Tour 2015/16 will be removed.
Marco Fu, who was the winner of that event, will lose the most points (25.000 Euro, don't know how much pounds this were back then), also Michael White, finalist back then, will lose quite an amount.

On wikipedia it's just noted as European Tour 2015/16 - Event 5.

I was also a bit surprised that he didn't enter this event when I looked it up a few days ago.

He hasn't withdrawn, he didn't even enter. Slight difference.
I don't know, but can imagine he just wanted to have a rest. He seemed to run a bit out of steam lately. Most top players skip one or two tournaments nowadays as there are so many events and the last one before christmas seems like a good solution.

Mark Williams withdrew shortly because of the illness of his wife.

                  According to snooker.org

Page replaced Luca Brecel who withdrew.

Oh okay. But then he withdrew at least already before the draw was held.
Just searched for it. On worldsnooker it just says Brecel withdrew for medical reasons.

Saengkham started well vs Gould. 3-0 up. Breaks of 97 (13 reds, 12 blacks), 144 and 122.

I have a question for those of you who use snooker.org.

When I load the main page or results or live scores I don't have any problems. However, when I have a list of results and I click on a player's name I almost always get a long lag before the page loads. Is it just me, or do other people have the same issue?

When Christopher Keogan beats you 4-0 it's seriously time to retire. And what the hell is Tian doing losing to Kurt Dunham. Terrible.
