Audience behaviour

I am frequently mystified that people in the audience are not ejected for allowing their phones to ring, calling out or taking photos.
Is this a deliberate act to affect the match?, or are they just ignorant.
Strict rules of non disturbance should be applied.
Official pictures taken by appointed professionals could be supplied for reasonable fees.

Slightly off topic but I went to see Ronnie Vs Judd in one of those exhibition tours they did last year. It was only an exhibition but they were taking it seriously, presumably because of the money on offer/pride maybe. They certainly weren't having any banter with the crowd, despite people shouting out 'effing 'ell, I could of potted that' and worse.

The ref was re-racking the balls for frame 3, Ronnie sat in his chair and some women (a tad worse for wear) walked up behind him, grabbed him and kissed him on the cheek and legged it! Ronnie cacked himself!

I think security got roasted that night, she could have been anyone.

Weird setup that exhibition series they did. I think the crowd were expecting a more of an exhibition atmosphere but it was more series. Snooker was immense though so I was happy!

Then Jimmy White appeared right at the end for one frame with some fella who won a raffle. He had a few shots and then Jimmy cleared the table. Unreal.

It's the same behaviour as seen on flights.
Arrogance and ignorance has the few using their mobile phones when it has been made profoundly clear to not use them during take off. Some people will be forever selfish regardless of how they may affect others.

I saw that woman on TV, was somewhat amusing, but did raise concerns regarding security.
She could have had malicious intentions.
But the match was fantastic, not usually disappointed watching Ronnie or Judd, except when Judd lost it & threw a match.

Audience members should be banned from wearing football tops too. It makes it look like a chav meeting.

I agree on the football top subject. I emailed World Snooker during the world champs in April and received a reply saying they can't inforce a dress code.

Yet some venues don't allow jeans or T-shirts, so why can't they set a minimum standard of dress code.
If not reasonably dressed you don't get in, which is easily enforced.
