  • cue doctor/repairer in midlands

    Hi all,
First of all, i hope i've posted this in the right place, if not can someone tell me ?
Anyhow, my question is if anyone knows someone one this forum that could put a joint in the butt of my cue, so it can take a mini butt extension, and maybe lengthen my cue a bit ?
    I'm in Coventry West midlands.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd very much appreciate it.
By the way the cue was originally made by Cue Craft and has the brass quick release joint, with the 2 dots on, if this helps.
Many thanks to all that reply, and a happy new year.

I would recommend Andy Travis, he has done alterations/refurbs for me over the years and has always be quick and reasonable and reliable.
Are you after the original joint removed or just a new butt joint plus a mini butt made?
I ask because if only a butt joint them you don't need to send the whole cue - but check with Andy first
He is over in Sheffield but it is not too expensive to tube up the cue and send

Andy is on TSF (you can PM him) and I believe he is on facebook.
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

      Hi,

I’d send it to Andy Travis in Sheffield/ Stockbridge, I’ve had a bit of work done by him as well as have 2 of his cues.
Good work and doesn’t charge the earth and fast turn round. Think you can find him on here still or contact through Facebook

        Thanks all,
By the way Dean, it's just a joint putting in the butt, as there isn't one in there at the minute, and i'm too much of a wimp to try it myself, in case i ruin the cue lol.
I will try and get hold of andy on the forum and see what advice he can give me.
Thankd Dean and Prince for all your help.
        Cheers.

Try Dean Jones cues over in Halesowen. Haven't heard a bad word said about him and I guess its closer for you.
