Hello - I'm Adam, 19, and a Boston United FC fan at Imperial College in London.

Have been playing snooker for about 3 years now, and my highest break is 35, which I made about a month ago.

Welcome Adam, Varsity team member of the future! Are there any inter-uni matches? 50 break on the horizon hopefully.
Good Luck against Darlington at the w/e; few places on offer.
Enjoy the different forums on offer too. (Add a post to my 'Best Ever Advice' when you've time, sorely lonely in 'Snooker Questions' section - ta)

      Hi!

Yes, there are inter-uni matches, run by BUSA I believe. I competed in the inter-IC tournament, and a member of the team suggested that I may be asked in the future to join said team because of my performance. However, it was probably the best match I'd played in a couple of months (I'm quite inconsistent) and I never was asked. There's always time, though.

If I get in and around the balls, I don't find it too difficult to make a break in the 20s - but that seems to be about as far as I can go at the moment. A friend of mine once summed my game up quite well when he said that I was "a good one-ball potter". I can knock in some long pots that others wouldn't look at, but I sometimes struggle to keep my positional play together for more than 4/5 shots.

With regard to the Darlington match - thanks for the good wishes. We've had one win in nine matches, and are slipping away from the play-off pack. I don't get to go to as many matches as I'd like being exiled in London.

      Cheers.
