  • Not sure what to do

I quit snooker / pool years ago and sold a stunning trevor white cue that was made for me in 1996.

I don't know the weight / size and have little hope of getting a reply from the maker if he even remembers.

Apparently I had an identical cue to Dominic Dale because we were almost the same build and it saved time apparently so I could get it quick.

Anyhow now I am getting back into things but have no cue and want something on par with the quality I had before.

I hear good things about the Thai makers like Maximus and Ton Praram and am thinking about buying one of their mid / high ranges off the shelf.

What I don't know is weight / size to go for and to import or buy from UK shop like greenbaize.

Maximus refused to sell to me direct but I think Ton Praram will but not sure if I would actually save anything.

All so confusing, any advice welcome before a make a mistake.....

Are you able to get to Greenbaize to try the cues out? If so, that's the best option. I can recommend Greenbaize very highly.

If you know exactly your spec. Stu at green baize can put the custom order through for you. You save alot of money on customs doing it this way.

Add Phoenix Cues to your Thai list as their as good as Maximus & Praram. I have a 1 piece ash Phoenix Supreme(thuya burl, birdseye maple and macassar ebony) which is a bit special and it’s as good as any cue net alone any Thai cue.
        VR Ultimate Limited Edition 1 Piece Ash Cue - 58” | 9mm | 18.9oz | 29.5mm | 18”.
        Long & Short Tele Extensions | 6” & 3” Ebony Mini Butts.
Peradon Blue/Black Patchwork Leather 1 Piece Wide Case.
Century Titanium Ferrule | ADR147 Tip | Taom V10 Chalk.

We could have a sweep on how many cues he has used in Pro comps since then, lol.

He may still have it? But would probably rememebr what it was and if he knew you back then I'm sure he would tell you.
