Dan Shelton cue

So I came across a 2nd hand Dan Shelton cue should I buy it? Seems like a lot of story behind these cues pretty interesting.

Besides the interesting story, how are he craftsmanship on these thing? Can’t find any reviews on them honestly

Dan Shelton cue

Dan Shelton made only a few cues (~30) and with his graphic designer background his eye for detail features are very good.
many cues were customised, ie a donor cue augmented.
I have two of his (and would like more if I can without the wife finding out )
unfortunately he ran into some family and medical issues which stopped his work

My 1pc snooker cue is a creation of his and I have had since 2011 and it plays very well for me

Yes I do for mine (and others) but they were on photobucket so removed now.
I will do them tomorrow when I get a second.

Yup that’s where I am based, so I am actually looking at the actual cue in the shop. I am not one to change my hobby items every now and then so the price tag doesn’t bother me. I’d just like to be assured that I won’t be needing to change because of any performance or major esthetic issues. I’ll get you a few more pictures maybe tmrow when I go back to test it out again. The price tag right now is 8.8k HKD
