wouldn't have made us smile though or drop our jaw so far!!!
I think this should be enshrined in a special place of it's own, "The Official Rules Of Snooker".

Long Posts??? can never see the point of them

20.59215 hours to go; fire up those Freeview, Cable & Sky boxes or BBC Broadband or.......... make sure you get to 55 Norfolk Street S1 1DA on time - ENJOY. Post those Pix ASAP, you can always email attachments of any Mini-Movies too; not desperate for the atmosphere at all!!

        [Cough] Copyright [/Cough]

Might be worth taking the rules off and just putting a link to the WSA, they can get a bit shirty about publishing the rules.

Give them an Email and ask can the rules be published and I am more than sure they will say yes, they have granted us permission, but it will take a week or so to get a reply from them.

You are corrent they are but they are interlectual property and the re print or production without permission is against copyright laws and they could take thesnookerforum's owner and the person posting copyright protected material to court.

Funny this I was just doing a IP trace on the domain name and found that it is hosted by Domains by Proxy, Inc.
              DomainsByProxy.com
              15511 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353
              Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
              United States
IP address - 72.9.233.2 and is on a server with another 411 other websites, sorry I was bored :-)

But this info is all relivant as the site is hosted in the US, the copyrighted material is also in the US and guess what copyright laws in the us are more strindgant than over here, so you have to be even more careful than usual.

Quite a long discussion !!! I did have a big laugh posting all that stuff !!! And guess what : I did write to the WSA. I'll see what & when they answer. Until then I'll delete the messages so IF ANYONE WANTS AN INFO, email me and I'll send you the rules via email. OK ? Everybody Happy ? Let's keep being nice to one another though : I've invited those people to visit us - given the address and all. Lol lol lol lol

Anyone who ISN'T happy, see me!
"be nice to one another", grief, I used to watch that.
Can't wait to see what Mirocri replaces those post with to help explain to people why we've said what we have afterwards.... I suggest, "There now follows an incredibly complete & multiple post by the font of knowledge at the SnookerForum that spanned several screens entailing the whole set of rules of Snooker. This was to help the user Cruser, who will obviously be cruisin for a bruisin very shortly. Strictly Come Crucible Fever!!
