Just got back into playing snooker after a few years out and looking to invest in a decent cue (£150-250, dependent on cue etc). A case included in the deal would be a welcome bonus, but not essential.

I am looking for 1 Piece, Ash, 58-59", 17-18oz, 9.5ish tip, simple but nice finish (I like the look of the Peradon King/Peradon Chiltern for reference).

I know I could go and get a Peradon, but wanna see what else is out there. Any recommendations of cues to consider/offers?
Precision from adr147 and you are all set.

We have a large range of cues you're welcome to try out in our Coventry showroom if you're fairly local or fancy visiting us. The cues are by various manufactures and price brackets so you should be able find something that feels right for you.

you need 10+ posts, a bit of patience, and a logout/login to gain PM function
this post of yours was #7

same here - TSF seems to have many members that appear as 'guest' - they want to read but never contribute by posting, strange but true

(next post will be #10- not sure exactly how long but give it time, and maybe a logout and login and you may see PM)
you can PM someone by click on their name in a post and you should see "send private message" and you should see the PM screen appear

I'm new around, and don't want to start new thread, so I will ask here: what do you think of Thai cue makers like Omin etc?

Many of the Thai cue makers are good at what they do for a reasonable price.
                          Welcome to TSF!

The Thai O'Min are very good, the Chinese one's no where near the same quality

My playing cue is a Maximus immortal, its a lovely cue and the weighting and balance feel extremely good to me. I also have a low end Phoenix master machine splice cue which plays great so can recommend those too.
