Hey buddy, it's not my intention to be cunning,
I come from the hunterforum and we are looking for the answers and we've got them all except that one so now we are depending on the kindness of other people!

the 148 man, so many good players out there. agree with your forum that hunter's a great player, not sure whether it was you or not but he's not the best player; ranking, tournament wins and World Champs perfornance would show this. I've seen him play twice, so I'm not on his case & his health problems might have a beneficial affect on his day-job; what's the latest on the big man btw? did you see my pic of him at the betfred event at the anvil? looked really happy.

There isn't really much news now But his manager said that the treatment was going well and he started training a little...
and I'll rephrase: he's not the best player YET! He'll become world champion next year and if not then, he'll become it the year after.
I haven't seen the pic! Where is it??

I'd repost the pic but I've only got about 30k of 1Meg left on my account for attachments, maybe there's another 'hosting' option if Admin can't increase a Members storage space. http://www.thesnookerforum.com/commu...read.php?t=263

It's 9 posts down in amongst a few other Prem League Snooker Pics.

I agree with you about Paul, he's got phenomenal talent, and although a coach would want to change his technique, if he could have some mental coaching, he'd be unstoppable. I was there when he went 6-2 (then lost the next in the following session) down to Ronnie. If trailing his opponent by a hooj margin is his best incentive, then if he could move the target somehow to wanting to be World No.1 and World Champion (whatever that will be called next year, who knows; Endemol World Champs hasn't got the same ring!), the fire to beat an opponent would be burning from the break-off rather than a switch-flick when he's virtually beaten and handshakes will be offered shortly.

I've just read that a professional friend of Paul McKenna took a group of people and made them think they were talented artists and got them to paint some pictures. Some of what they produced was so good, that one person in the room offered them £2000 pounds on the spot.

It sounds simplistic, but as many will say, "it's all in the mind", which is about right because it's Paul's state of mind that allows him to suddenly turn on the after-burners and play like a genius. He must wonder why and how this happens; maybe I'll contact the mercurial McKenna to, 'av a word'!

All the best to Paul, must be a comfort to have a great fanbase over on wheelsinmotion.

                      That's a great picture!
The Hunter forum is a great forum and we do hope paul actually visit it sometimes although the topic isn't snooker anymore...
I agree with you that it's all in the head and being diagnosed with cancer can't be good for your mental health. I just hope he'll be back next year 'cause he has the talent to reach nr 1
