  • Hi everyone!

I've already recognised some names from the BBC message board. Thought I could drop by and see what you guys have to say about our beloved sport.

I've got into snooker during the WC in 2004. So I HAD to end up as a Ronnie fan. I like other players though as well.

You are the 1st female member I am meeting here in this forum. Do you play snooker or are you just a fan of the sport?

I can hardly believe that I'm the only woman. On the BBC boards there are loads of female fans. I do indeed play myself but not very often, unfortunately. I started playing about 1 1/2 years ago.

I'm very much looking forward to the WC over the next 2 weeks. I can watch it on Eurosport and I hope that they'll provide a decent live coverage. The last tournaments left much to be desired. Anyway, I'm off to a short holiday in Hamburg tomorrow but I'll be back in time for the WC to commence.

                  Hello Kat
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
