where can i start playing snooker?

You don't say exactly where in the country you are, but probably the best place to start is look up "Snooker Clubs" in your Yellow Pages.

If you are nearby to any of the members here, they may know some local clubs.

Oh, I've just noticed that you DO in fact say where you are located!

I am sure Cardiff must have a Riley's and probably other clubs as well. There is a Riley's in Newport (between the Newport Leisure Centre and that funny roundabout at the end of one of the shopping streets!).
