just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on snooker coaching dvds or tarining aids to improve any part of my game. I already own a steve davis coaching vcd, and i own jack karhnam one. I also just brought a snooker mat to help improve aligment of my cueing, to make sure i cue straight, I did see a snooker dvd on www.playbettersport.com - it is by terry griffiths and stars mark williams and stephen hendry, does any one own this dvd, and do they have any reviews on it?

    Thanks everyone

Well, as I mentioned to you there's "Snooker - Basic Skills" from 1995 which I think is the best video out there for a beginner and medium advanced player.

I've been looking for something similar for a couple of days now and there just does not seem to be any tuition dvds for sale!!!!
And they dont seem to have passed them on to dvd either( the old VHS ones ,I mean).
Its getting a bit frustrating as I cant afford a coach and I would like to improve my game at home.
          Please, any ideas??

                Basic skills

legod, do you mean the Terry Griffiths video? I have read good reports about this particular video. I wonder why the companies dont release these titles on DVD? I'm sure that there would be a flood of buyers for them!!
I've a few "pool related" things on You Tube but its not the same.
Does anybody remember the series that Dennis Taylor did for the BBC?:::::::::thats the kind of thing that I',m looking for.
                cheers

Simply check out http://dr-dave-billiards.com/book/book_description.html (especially 90 degree rule and 30 degree rule). It has transformed my game totally. I'd tried all those videos. Everyone I know who has look at this has made massive improvements. Good luck!.
