          Cheers!
I would have one of these if they did a slimline 1 piece but they only do 1piece cases for 2 cues!
There was another company that made fibreglass cases but they've gone out of buiness!
These ones were slightly different in style and a little cheaper you can still see them at this site but they’re are gone now!

          http://www.snooker-cues-cuecases.co.uk/

I’ve got an aluminium case at mo but I’ve only got a two piece cue at mo!
I’m getting my new cue soon and it’s one piece the alu case are a bit bulky (for 2 cues again)
I think I’ve got three options:

Shell out for a posh leather slimline case £150ish
Buy a leatherette one for about £40/£50
Get a plastic tube case for £10-20 (do cues not rattle around too much in these?)

          Any advice?

going by your character on here id say this would suit you fine, and would be money well spent as id imagine youd look after it well.

possibly consider looking out for one of these second hand, as some become available due to folk buying different cues....

This FibreCase (http://www.poolcuecases.co.uk/) apparently features rubber seals, sounds like an almost hermetically sealed case.

I wonder if it is wise to store a cue for days or weeks in such a hermetical case or if a non-hermetical case would be preferable for long term storage of the cue. Any opinions on this?

I definitely like the style of this case...

The cases that I am sure you have seen have been made on a part time basis in Somerset by a friend of mine. He runs a fibre glass company and has made these cases for as long as I have known him. In our area the cases are very common but not as sure about other areas as I think he has only really made them in small numbers and distributed them personally. Having said that I believe over 2000 made each of which are totally unique from one another so the cases are not that uncommon but are not in abundance like the metal cases. He has made them for some cue companies before but am pretty sure he doesn’t anymore. To my knowledge there is no website selling them anymore, If you like I can put you in contact with him
