I would like to know how to get my cue's ferrule shiny again. It looks a bit scracthed because some tip sanding...

So any tips how to get it clean and shiny again. Thanks.

Wire Wool (Grade 0000). Works well on the shaft as well.

2000 grit wet and dry sandpaper, just polishes and won't remove any wood or metal.

get the finest sandpaper you can (wet OR dry)

cut a bit about 1 inch square

hold the cue in the hand you write with

spin the cue clockwise and at the same time hold the grain side of the cut paper against the ferrule, taking care not to touch the cue wood.

do this for about 20 seconds or so

then repeat the above but use the paper side of the sandpaper, as this buffs up the ferrule nicely after "cleaning" with the grain side.

Toothpaste is the best for plastic ferrules (pool cues)

use 0000 wire wool - don't use on the shaft ubnless you have some top quality oil and wx to refinish it - its not hard to do but your cue might have a varnish finish.
