  • How many balls can you pot in one?

This question really relates to a "trick shot".

Assuming you are allowed to arrange the balls any way you like, where would you put them and how many object balls can you pot in one stroke?

if push shots are allowed - you could just line up all 21 balls in one giant plant - and push the whole lot down the pocket with one long stroke.

        I don't think that's possible!
You will need a HUUUUUGE power to stroke it all there!

i wasnt thinking of a power stroke, just a long long long push stroke.

Ok, to say something serious, a small trick shot with 3 ball what I sometimes can do.
You put white on the baulk, two reds on the place of the pink.

You pot a red to the right pocket, and other red with white goes to left.
              That's it!

Perhaps I should have made it more clear that I had in mind a "legal" stroke - e.g. no push or jump shots and the cue ball not to go down.

Since posting the original message I have found in "The Eddie Charlton Complete Book of Snooker" trick shot 44 which pockets 4 object balls in one stroke. A slightly easier looking stroke is trick shot number 45 which pots 3 object balls.

Please post if you succeed in executing either of these strokes (or if you can find a shot which pots 5 object balls!!)

How many balls can you pot

I'm sure I've seen somewhere on this forum a way you can pot all six colours off of their spots in one stroke. But I'm not sure where.

i remember that thread too. It wasnt about potting all 6 colours though , it was just about disturbing all 6 of them off their spots in one stroke.

One legal shot, all balls into one pocket? Betchay i'd manage every ball on the table.

Just need some muscle tilting it though.

logically if the 15 reds were in a perfect straight line you could pot all 15 in one legal stroke ?

if you are snookered on all the reds in a line by a colour which is at the end of the line, can that colour be nominated as a red, and then pot it as well as all 15 reds?
