  • Favourite Tips

I was just wondering, what is your favourite make of tips and what tips do you use. At the moment, I am just using some tips that I got from a Local store, as I just started playing recently. Although just last month I needed to re-tip, so I was wondering about perhaps getting some Elkmaster tips, I can't find any Powerglide 11mm tips, if anyone can find a link for me it will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

They do, they are asdvertised on their site: HERE. However, I can't find the page where they sell them, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything. At the moment I'm looking at Elkmaster, do you think they are good?

Oh right, sorry about that. And thanks, hopefully that should be a little better and easier for me to find. Supposedly from what I have heard, Blue Diamond are the best makers of tips, or one of; thanks anyways.

i am still not 100% sure about the wooldridge pressed tips myself but they are very popular so he must be doing something right.

yes of course - consistant and steady like a good elkmaster, but a little too soft for me and for the general public pretty expensive.

                      Hi ADR147

Apologies if this is mentioned specifically elsewhere in the forum (I did check) but do you have a favourite between the Talisman soft and Mike Wooldridge's laminated tips.

You sell both on ebay for about the same price - how do they compare?

personally i use the talisman because i find the black line on the base a distraction, but really tips are all about what you like - they are a very similar product.
