Hunt & O'Byrne custom cue

Hello everyone!

I jumped into a Hunt & O'Byrne custom cue. According to the owner of the cue, it is similar cue which gave the world title to John Parrot in 1991. Condition of the cue is brilliant. The cue is of course handmade in London and made of best materials available. And so on...

How much would you be willing to pay for such a cue?

I want to make a little clarification concerning previous post...

Guy who owns this Hunt & O'Byrne has offered it to me at a price about 220 £.
Does this seem to be too much of such a cue? Also if someone has any experiences of this kind of Hunt & O'Byrne, I would be glad to hear about them.

I am no expert with cues but I do understand that Hunt & Obyrne makes cues with green, blue and black badges - not sure of grading though. Having said that, I would venture to say that a handspliced Hunty for 200 quid would be a bargain especially since they are quite rare these days. Let's hear more views and advice from our cue gurus out there.

thats robert osbourne who does the badge colours - this cue is older than that although word is will hunt is now working with robert again.

craftsman cues do a few in that range as do mastercraft, or try a thai cue if you can find one say o'min or mastercue. but in truth you should not really buy something like a cue on a strict budget like that. cues are a very personal choice and the one that suits you could vary dramatically in price.

Agree fully with you ADR. No I'm not cue shopping myself but thought it'd be good if members have a rough idea of what can be had with that budget. Heard many good things about o'min too ... won't surprise me as the Thais are great craftsmen as well. Thanks again for sharing.
