  • Which is better? O'min or Peradon cues

    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to know everyones opinion which cue they would rather purchase:
    O'min Champion
    O'min Classic
    Peradon Edwardian
    Peradon Joe Davis

I just want to know what you would prefer out of these 4 cues and could you also give me a reason why you chose that specific cue.

    Thanks.

Peradon are pretty good; I used to use a regancy!
If I were you I'd look at craftsman for similar money as well!

Do you think these prices are reasonable?
I've been offered these prices for certain cues
      - Omin (Union): USD230
      - Omin (Climax): USD160
      - Omin (Perfect): USD140
      - Omin (Classic): USD130
      - Omin (Thomas): USD100
      - Cue Craft (Triumph): USD300
      - Cue Craft (Monarch): USD230
      - Master (single splice): USD180
      - Master (4 splices): USD240

        Hard to judge from $!
With it being about $2 to the £ I'd say this all looks reasonable.
I've heard good things about Omin and master but I think ADR147 did say that the quality of Master cues has not been as good latley.
I don't like Cue Craft myself.
I'd still say check out Craftsman

from this list the answer is o'min - its not a hard question but be careful of import taxes etc if self importing. - the reasons are attention to detail, quality of materials and quality of finish.

I'd take the Peradon, but that's just because I like it The "reputation" of the brand does matter, but the most important is how you feel the cue...but I assume you're planing to by one of these on internet so you can't get one of them to your hands before you buy...on the other hand you can always send it back in mostly 2 weeks after purchase...

if that is the case, i would recommend you to go for Omin Union, that is the high end cue range under Omin.
