    Any good?

Looking on fleabay, I've seen a couple of Champion cues from O'min. They seam to go cheap enough - was just wondering if they were tacky, decent, imported, etc. Also Welsh Pool Trading advertise a few of their own 'made in UK' cues. Are these any good? The Welsh Black looks nice (simple black butt, no frills).

Thanks ADR147, am looking at a couple on fleabay at the moment - not sure about maple though. Keep trawling to see if anything nice turns up. Like the look of the welsh black, will have a punt if the reserve is set lower.

Saw a very nice Craftsman, but it's price has shot up remarkably (too much for me, but looked very nice)

however, i'm not sure about the deal is good though.

do anyone know much about JX Champion Cues (JX 21-24 Champion)? good alternative compare with O'min

the jx cues are cheap chinese cues and not to be mentioned in the same breath as o'min - the difference in quality is like comparing a bentley with a lada.

The Wooldridge cues I sell are my design, hence they also have Welsh Pool Trading on the Wooldridge badge.

                          Likewise Ad

We only have 5 Omin cues in stock 3 Champion and 2 Classic

Have decided not to continue selling the O min brand once current stock has gone.

The current Cost of cues from O min plus the cost of importing has made it no longer worth while.
Quality of cues also appear to have fallen of late, shame because they produce the best quality shaft I have seen.

Our own brand cues will be the only Handmade cues we sell from now on.
We have just redesigned them with Airlock joints.

That's the risk you take importing I guess.

The increasing shortage and price rises of high quality African Ebony and Ash will only make it increasingly hard to find high quality cues.

So look after your cues guys...........
