  • About cueing..

Hi. I want to ask from all of you, do you play cue up in your chest? I mean, do you have your cue brushing against your chest or not?

And... Does anybody know how young professionals play today? I have heard that many coaches teach not to keep your cue brushing your chest. How about procoaches?

My cue brushes against my chest when I play, and I thought it was encouraged. It's only lightly though, and if anything it helps to keep the cue on line.
It isn't pressing against the chest, so it has no effect on smoothness or fluency. I think it's recommend by coaches, and think I saw it in an instructional video at some point.

the cue should be as close to the centre line of your body as possible.

I know a coach who says it's good for the cue to touch your body!
