    Hi,
Having lurked here for a couple of weeks I decided to put pen to paper so to speak.

I used to play on a quarter-size table as a child and have been an avid viewer since the 70's.

I've only been to one event being the Masters at Wembley in 2008.

Been playing pool and snooker again for the last year or so and finally treated myself to a CueSoul cue for my birthday earlier this month. Only used it once so too early to tell how I am with it.

One question for now... should I have done anything to the tip before playing or are these just 'good to go' after chalking?

    welcome to TSF
many will say they tend to remove the tip as supplied with a cue as often they are not very good quality; but if you are happy with it carry on
See how it goes and maybe change it later.
Have a look around there are many threads on types of tips and how to fit one. Have fun
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Normally recommended to change the tip , unless you know if the cue maker has put the one on that you want .
