                What are those little cone doohickeys in the butt socket? See this on the maximus cues page quite a bit, guessing its just to let the cue have something to stand on when its being oiled?

                  Correct oil and stand on rack. Just a preventative measure. I normally have rubber stoppers when they stand on racks as well. Prevents jarring against the bottom of rack.

                      All play well. Splices are all accurate. Shafts are quite stiff.

                        How much does a plain ebony butt cue go for? And what length are the butts on your cues in general?
