  • ***Wanted - Cue Ferrule Fitting Machine***

    Hello Fellow Forum Users,

I have been challenged by the owner/manager of my local snooker club to re-commission a bug bunch of his club cues. Some of the cues will only need a new tip, they will be the easy ones. However, there seems to be an inordinate amount of them that are going to require a new ferrule fitting.

Therefore, I would like to buy a second-hand cue ferrule fitting machine.

If any of you nice people have one kicking around that would like to go to a new loving home then, please either respond here, or feel free to PM me.

I will pay a fair price and can pay by PayPal or cash, which ever you prefer.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Is that a question or a statement?

Was that not a lathe? Think he might be looking one of those tweeten things that attaches to the shaft.

Yes that is the type that I am after. One that attaches to the cue shaft.

sort of a bit of both. if you have not used one before they are a bit of a nightmare to use.

About 12 years ago I did 6 weeks work experience at a local snooker supply company and in that time I was lucky enough to get some practice fitting tips and ferrules, under the guidance of their resident cue doctor. So, with regards to using one, I do not have any problems in that department. Unfortunately, the aforementioned snooker supply company has long since gone. Otherwise I would have simply gone there and borrowed their ferrule machine.

That sound like a good idea. If you would be kind enough to PM me with the price including P&P then that would be great.

Mike's was a 'Woods' ferrule fitting lathe.
