  • Cue Storage

    Hi guys,

just a quick question, how do you store your cue? ie when it is in your case do you keep it vertical or horizontal? Does it matter if it is kept secure in a case?

I know it is usually best to keep horizontal but it does require more space.

    TIA

if supported in a case, not rattling round, then vertical is fine - hope so that all I have done for many years and not had any issues
    main issue is temperature extremes
I recall a friend said he stored his cue under is bed and his cue bent like a twig; turned out he had heating pipes under his bed so the poor cue was being roasted every day

Thanks for confirming that, I did store it under the bed but it would be ideal to store it vertically elsewhere.

all our cues are standing under the stairs, out of traffic and harms way.
right next to the vacuum cleaner so they never get disturbed

nope, that is in the utility room miles away
no heating or pipes anywhere near, not even a power outlet
