Assuming the format is the same as in previous seasons, this is good news.

They've been going to and fro with this tournament.

World Snooker really couldn't organise a proverbial in a brewery.

                only 3 pre-qualifires according to worldsnooker.com

Billy Joe Castle v Wildcard 1
                Wildcard 3 v Wildcard 2
                Soheil Vahedi v Wildcard 4

Don't know who the wildcards are.

This tournament isn't listed on the Prize Money schedule. Anyone know what the £ per round is?

Poor Alex Ursenbacher. He has drawn John Higgins for the third straight tournament. Lost 0-5 and 0-4 the first two times.

I just thought. Isn't this the day after The Champion Of Champions?

Could somebody have to fly from Coventry to Shanghai in a matter of hours?

In the past have they not rescheduled matches of any player at CoC to give them time to fly over? Admittedly it was not much time to acclimatise ...

Probably. In fact, wasn't it the other way round one year? Mark Allen won a tournament in China on the Sunday, to book his place in the Champion Of Champions. He played in Coventry on Tuesday, but got to the final non-the-less.

Apparently, this isn't on Eurosport now.

World Snooker have made a right mess of this.
