yes i used to play with soft elks,but i really liked the feel of the single layered super tip its not too soft nor too hard its just right.

its better to spend your money on a super tip rather than keep changing elks till you like one,i think it'll be cheaper to get a super tip than change

I worked it out once, and (assuming buying elks in bulk) i think you need to change your tip quite a few times before elks cost more than mikes tips,
