Black Rectangles in Overhead View on Wii

Hello
After a shallow learning curve I am coming to the end of my first season in WSC and have just qualified for the World Championship after winning the Welsh.
But when I use the overhead view, there are four big black rectangles blocking out most of the table.
Has anyone see

I'm experiencing the same. Therefore, I imagine it's an intentional obstacle to make it a more difficult trophy to win.<

i tried a new disc and same thing too. just go for blue all the time and its not too difficult. it looks intential to make it harder. i won 9 out of 1
