I used to play about 25 years ago. I'm 47 years old and my highest break was around 32.
I started playing again this year at the start of summer. I could barely hit a ball at first but I decided to spend some time in the last couple of months actually practising and following the advice of the good people on this board.
The other day I got a 26 when I played my mate. I was well chuffed. I also cleared all the colours the other day but missed the black.
I really do feel like I'm a much better player then I was 25 years ago and my technique feels great. I've got a nice loose grip of my cue and am following through the white on each shot.
In practise. I've probably got more then 26 but I don't bother to count. Just concentrate on potting balls.
This place has taught me a great deal.
