    If you have removed the varnish then you should protect the wood somehow, my preference is Raw Linseed oil.

    Your tip will more likely get harder as it beds in not softer.

    Hi vmax i bought a box of these a few months ago on good advice on here for a softish pressed tip, well ive never come across as hard a box of pressed

    got to admit i think elkmaster are the best of the soft tips for allround play,mikes tips are harder but they have a gd all round game as well,the har
