Default Cue too short what to do?

I have a problem with my cue. I'm quite a tall 188cm ( don't know about your foot and inches ) and my cue is about 145cm.

Some shots i find it difficult to get enough followthrough and i feel i have to drop my elbow too much or even lift my body to get enough followthrough.

Any ways to deal with this problem except bying a new cue? Have any of you had this kind of a problem? All comments are welcome.

You don't have a mini-butt? There so useful to have in your case for them extra length needed shots. I think most cues are around 57/58" which is about 147cm.

My advise is purchase a mini-butt or see a cue doctor, they can lengthen/shorten any cue. John Higgins I think did this like a year or 2 ago. Otherwise your gonna have to get use to a new cue which is a bit of a downer.

have you tried rubbing it, up and down the shaft?

    OR

perhaps you could put 4 new tips on the pointy end of it?

    # seriously, if you really want the cue bigger, then call a nearby (to you) cuemaker and ask for options and pricing of adding length. its not too hard a job, most of the time
