  • Best of the rest from EASB Finals Weekend

BARNSLEY break builder Shaun Wilkes has claimed a national snooker title.

Wilkes defeated Anthony Hebblethwaite, from Wakefield, 5-3 in the final of the English Club Players Championship at Longton Snooker Club, Stoke.

Leeds star Johnathan Bagley restricted Anthony Harris, from Sutton Coldfield, to just 62 points in a 5-0 victory in the Masters final.

Jake Nicholson, from Flamborough, Yorkshire, ended EASB stalwart John Hartley’s hopes of national glory with a 6-0 drubbing in the Six-Red Championship final.

Three-ball aficionado Rob Hall, who hails from the delightfully-named Norton Disney, near Lincoln, compiled two centuries and averaged 17.03 over his 68 visits to the table in his four-hour 1158-669 win against Middlesbrough’s David Causier in the English National Billiards Championship final.
