Andy Travis has done quite a few refurbs for myself and friends and always a great job.
A friend has a cue made to order by AT and he loves it

          • He's done a great job, not a surprise though, the standard of his work on his cue thread is top quality.

Cues from the far East are definitely a good as any nowadays.

Would have to agree that cosmetically they seem to be able to produce a cue with an ash shaft up there with the so called ultimate or AAAAAAAAA+ ash shafts

However as we all know it's not how it looks its how it plays.

                    • Does the grain on that cue make it look a little bent in one of the photos? The badge up photo, with the chevrons facing the ceiling. Asking because mine looks slightly bent as well, just wondering if it's an optical illusion.

Larvely bit of pie n mash on that. Agree, eastern craftsman have learnt and are beginning to perfect old skills in cue making. It's "born again" craftsmanship that's built on a love for the game and an understanding of the feel required.
