Your explanation still doesn't make sense ? What about the three bit at the end ???

                • I have seen this brass Exclusive badge before but not seen any definitive answer as to its legitimacy.
You can always send an email to John Parris with the pictures for an answer.
Just let us know what you find out
If it is legit, it will be very early in JP's career (84ish) as he went to plastic discs very soon after setting up.

                  • I'm going to put my wotsit on the block here........and say that isn't a JP .

Was he even doing butt joints back then , don't think so . So must have been added later .

The finish around the joint looks poor as well .

Hopefully someone can prove me wrong , for the sake of the buyer .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                    • Hmm I would put money on that being totally fake, but part of me thinks if you were to fake something surely you would try and get the badge right ?

                            • I bought it from a snooker equipment dealer in malaysia who had 3-4 pieces that he supposedly sourced from JP. I will wait for a response from JP before approaching the shop.

                              Again, thanks for the input.

If very cheap then that should be an indication that it's not real
