  • Simulated Hand Splice (Peradon)

Hi, I have bought the Sapphire cue after reading some reviews and also testing it out and liking the weight, feel, look. But since I have seen that it is simulated hand spliced which im a bit worried about as always steered clear from machine splice.

Does simulated hand splice mean they have machine spliced it then painted it to make it look like its hand spliced or is it just two hand spliced pieces with the butt being painted to simulated the splice.

If it is machine spliced, does it make any real difference? Thanks

The sapphire is a cannon brand cue that peradon import , the cue is solid ash and has no real splicing just painted to simulate ebony hand splicing with decal to simulate facing splice

do you think its still a decent cue, albeit one of the cheaper ones. being from cannon/peradon it should be straight and well made im guessing. thanks

The cannon cues are good cues for the money but you will need to change the tip
