  • what to practice befor the line up ? (for cue delivriing ...)

hi , what practice do you suggest beffor the line up , to keep the cue straight , and cueing proprely ??

Long diagonal blues into the black pocket is a fairly common one. I've seen folk trying to pot the blue and follow the white in.

What's wrong with using the line-up to determine how well you're cueing?

If the balls are going in... Chances are, you're cueing straight.

Well you need to practice that as you shouldn't be losing the cueball that soon

            You're entire philosophy irritates me.

Can't do something straight away so it's pointless and boring.

Perhaps you should play pool... Snooker's not for you.

Hmm, well why bother lining up all those balls?

Get to clearing 5 reds near black, then the 15 in a line....

I would say you should be able to achieve that within 2-3 months.

If you are a complete beginner, you will need to learn how to cue straight reasonably consistently. You will also need to learn how to control the white ball.

If you keep focused and try hard each session, you will achieve that in 2-3 months.

For a complete beginner that would be a very tall order I would of thought, unless playing every single day, 🤔

Yeah fair point. In my mind I had someone playing most days for 2-3 hours. He's unluckily to do that, so I think you're right.
