    Hi

Just spoke to Robert and he's seen the Pics of the cue and he can confirm it's defiantly one of his genuine cues, if anyone is interested in the cue I'm quite happy to send email regarding this.

    Thanks.

yep seen certificates stating Red/Green/Black, not sure when they exactly started or stopped doing them though.

here is my latest timeline for these cues

~1982 ? Will Hunt making own "Will Hunt" cues.

? Robert Osborne making own cues for a short time.

1984 "Hunt & O'Byrne" cues from 1984 to 1992. O'Byrne was money partner, not a cue maker. O'Byrne refers to Mr Dave O'Byrne who was the partner of Will Hunt. Rumour that he moved to Australia.

? Robert Osborne works at H&Ob for a while.

      Late 1992 Hunt & O'Byrne into receivership [Snooker Scene 1992_12 pg15].

? Robert Osborne goes back to making his own cues (Robert Osborne cues).

1999 Will Hunt starts making own cues again.

? Will Hunt starts helping out Osborne.

      2006-2010 Hunt & Osborne cues.

? Will Hunt stopped making cues.

? "Hunt & Osborne" stopped making cues.

May 2006 New firm called Hunt & O'Byrne Cue Makers Ltd, based in Shrewsbury. No connection to Will Hunt.

~2010/11 to date Robert Osborne making cues under own name.

mid/late 2011 to date. Will Hunt brings in cues from Thailand and sells them as hand made in UK. Website edited to confirm the source. http://www.willhuntsnookercues.co.uk

?2011-2012? to date New "Hunt & Osborne" cues available from Cue8website, not connected to Will Hunt or Robert Osborne.

anyone with definitive dates/info, please pass on
