    i think its too early to say, there are lots of Chinese players who have shown potential when they were young and haven't set the world alight. lyu haotian who himself is 16 now who was touted being the next Ding a few years ago when he appeared as a wild card in the China open, however hasn't done it yet. he is now based in Sheffield at the Star Snooker Academy they have took him on for the next 3 years, but who knows he might come good yet.

    what i will say with the amount of interest and investment into the sport in China and with the sheer number of players its inevitable that over the next 10 years or so we are going to see a lot of good Chinese players breaking into the 128 and maybe even the top 64

      Got to admire the ethos of the Chinese people and Government in how they get behind the potential of their people academically and financially to support and finance their development - They really do put us to shame in this country.
