  • Cleaning cue of any previous wax/oil?

Hi, how would you recommend I clean a newish cue prior to oiling it (best way without damaging it etc). I don't know whats been on it before but it seems waxy.

I have some Mike Woolridge liquid gold oil on order and the instructions say the make sure no wax or oil is on the cue.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Steve

get an A4 piece of paper and wipe the cue as you would with a towel

Its something that cue craft recommend rather than using a damp towel

        Yes

Just a piece of printing paper. Fold/scrunch it and wipe the cue as you would with a cloth/towel
