  • Button wood cues ??

    Came across a page on facebook he's a Thai cue maker by the name of button wood so I had a look at some of his work and all I have to say is WOW some of the wood he uses are out of this world.

    Does any1 on here own one of his cues would love to know a bit more about him.

        What's really shocking is most of these thai cues I seen recently have same design or very similar just different badges?
        I have seen a Maximus, Omin, Phoenix etc all same like Connoisseur design only difference is the prices!!!...lol

          It's because the connie style is probably the most popular design on a cue at the moment and u can get so many different types of wood these days that there are not many two cues that are alike. I think gone are the days that people want a single facing splice and a single veneer don't get me wrong there will be people who like the single face just think you can do much more with the connie style.

            There's nothing wrong with any design just saying that I think people tend to go for the connie style because it offers a wider range of choice.

            I don't know how much would love one though they look amazing.

              Just spoke to him and got quoted 150usd for a beautiful 3/4 with amboyna burl

                      No don't think so but he did say I could have snakewood for $260 the communication was quite limited because of the language barrier.
