I currently have a buffalo diamond plus tip on my cue. Can someone who's using a velvet tip please tell me how they compare to a diamond plus?

I still have a velvet spin tip on my cue which I put on in June last year. Overall Ive been really pleased with it. Its still responsive & keeps it shape really well. I will definately use the other one I bought when I replace it. I have tried the Buffalo Diamond Plus tip & I really liked them too. In my humble opinion these tips are very similar & would recommend both if you you like a softer tip.
