Didn't the exact same thing happen to removal man Stevie and he had to come back on as Stevie1 , I don't think that was ever fixed either, so I wouldn't hold your breath Vmax.

Yep, happened to me as well, ferret sorted it out in the end. Wonder how many members we've lost because of this long running issue.
This forum is fantastic, because of the members, but the admin is and has always been utterly pathetic. I was hoping for better from the new owners, but apart from the increase in adverts, nothing's changed, unfortunately.

I had the same problem last year. I did download Chrome and I could log in again.
Not sure about your situation.

you need 10 and over posts, a bit of patience, and then a logout login for the system to reset your functions
