  • Champion of Champions - Tuesday 4th Nov

Hey all, I've been a member of snooker forum for 8 years...this is my first post (is that a record?!) I'm randomly going up to Coventry from London on Tuesday 4th Nov to watch the afternoon session (who knows which players it'll be!), so thought I'd put that out there as if anyone else will be there for that session and fancies chewing over what transpired over a drink afterwards, let me know!

    Chris
    Cheers

Turns out it's not my first post...but three in 8 years is still pretty poor!

Mark Selby playing on Tuesday mate, and three other players but they haven't been decided yet.

I'm there on Wednesday. Got all day tickets to watch The Rocket

Is anyone else surprised Steve Davis is in this? Obviously the man is an absolute legend, i've just seen the fixtures and he's playing Selby, i thought this was a tournament for recent or reigning champions, i'm sure there are far more deserving players that could get an invite before Steve?

            Just my opinion.
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

Having done a little research it seems Steve's inclusion is down to beating Nigel Bond in the World Seniors, er, i'll shut up then.

World Snooker has the matches (day/time/players)
and the match ups look exciting.

Monday has Ding vs Dale at 13:00 and
                Hawkins vs Higgins at 15:00
7 days of snooker sounds good to me.

Nice to see some snooker on ITV
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

I really enjoyed this tournament last year, i can see Selby going far having not been to China, he should be fully refreshed, but ultimately i think Ronnie will win it.

World Snooker doesnt list it as being covered
by them. I sent them an email and have got
                        no reply.
Can someone include a link when they have one?
                        Thanks.

i see Ricky Walden drawn against Mark Alan on Friday, maybe a chance for Alan to revenge after the defeat in the International championship final in China on Sunday.

Although Walden should be confident of a repeat the way he played in that match
