  • Practice at home - virtual pool

I already practice my cue action a bit, stepping into the shot and aiming for a spot on the wall, but I can't really practice aiming without a table. So I found this virtual pool programme.

This is extremely difficult http://www.billardgl.de/wasistbillardgl-en.html no aiming guidlines or any help like that, and IMO much harder to see the shot than on a real table. I have no idea if it helps with real world potting, can't see how it would hurt though. Opinions welcome.

It could hurt in a way that it is a total waste...playing VP and alike, when you could spend all that time on a real table...:snooker:

I actually used to play virtual pool when it first came out in 1995! I would say that this is pretty good at getting you accustomed to potting angles. Also it is pretty realistic when using spin too! The only thing you can't do is change the shots perspective in terms of which position your eyes are fixed during the shot. This is virtual and is only a game of course...lol.
          Cheap and Cheerful! 😄
