yes and with the ebony, wenge and black oak, its all blended in quite nicely. think i may even apply a lacquer mix so as to give it that enhancing protective shell.
and may even do a cue rescue cue review sometime in the week

              Like the sound of that.

I take it you mean lacquer for the butt and oil for the shaft....not trying to be smart!

yes, i have a few mixtures but yeah a solid clear satin butt then a invisible transition to a oil burnished shaft. so it will have that glow as well as play and feel real smooth

                      • Yeah had a few things to sort as you do. But been popping into the workshop over the last week making a couple of tucas and tidying up, I'm itching to get back on it. So there will be a burst of work in the coming weeks, can't wait..

That's good then. I remember you talking about a winter break and wondered if you'd stopped for some reason.

Look forward to the burst of energy.........send me some over if you have any spare!

                          • For energy shock I recommend a couple of weeks off the sauce, and take the legs out to pace some hills.
                            Works for me every time

                            .

Ha Ha. Been off the source pretty much for a few years now but yep, could do with a lot more walking as it does make you feel good and a good time to think.

Taking the legs out is the best all around mind body and soul workout, unless you got a keen young blond knocking down the door looking for oldboy action
