Rat might be quite appropriate Neil.

        • Ok, looks like another of those "popular" Parris cue copies fitted with those dodgy badges here :

Yes apologies, that link was from my mobile phone and doesn't seem to work for some reason?

              The revised link is here:

              http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/John-Parri...vip=true&rt=nc

The cue in question described as a brand new Parris has alarmingly managed to suck in 15 different bidders?!

...and what's more described as having a maple butt...lol

                • Oh dear, the guy just sold a dodgy Parris and the following week he's now got a dodgy Hunt cue for sale :-

I'm seeing an alarming number of fake cues coming from north of the border, and I'm starting to wonder if there's some kind of production line going on up there?

This look genuine? If real maybe I will make a cheeky offer to have for pool games in pubs with restricted space.
                      Not sure.

I owned parris Ultimate 1370 a few years ago but I'm not sure if mine was red glue!! I bought it from Pete Hutchinson and I think he bought it from Gary Ng. it was a 3/4 ash cue with plain black ebony butt. I think it was 9.5mm tip, 58in long and around 18oz

If you search this forum for parris Ultimate 1370 you will find the original sale post from Gary Ng, I believe he sold the cue for around £800

It's a 3/4 split cue ( just got the numbers wrong way round) and there are four cues knocking about claiming to be the original.
