  • Permac Olympic cue?

I've recently bought a Permac Olympic one piece cue and have been trying to do some research on it but haven't really had any luck. Does anyone have any info about it. I know Permac came to be when Peradon merged with another company called Mac something or other, but i can't find any info about the cue itself. Basically i'm wondering if it was regarded as a good playing cue or not?

Post WWII, Peradon acquired MacMorran & Co. Ltd.
For a short time the name Permac combined the two.

        see http://www.snookerheritage.co.uk/com...ories/peradon/

In 1960, snooker was included at the Rome "Olympic Games for the Paralysed" (often called the first Para-Olympics).
To commemorate this, Peradon made the cue from ~1962 and available through to early/mid 70s.
